About Stlan

Electronic musician since the early 2000s, Yann Trevin, better known as Stlan, has spent decades crafting a wide range of unreleased electronic tracks. His early work accompanied events and creative communities, from music for the Atari/Amiga demoscene in the late '90s to local light-show performances across France and Belgium between 2000 and 2005 [1] [2]

After nearly 25 years of making music mostly in private circles—and following several years of creative silence—Stlan returned in 2022 with a renewed desire to finally share his sound with the world.

Stlan's music is vibrant and optimistic, driven by strong, memorable melodies. His compositions weave together elements of melodic techno, trance, psytrance, and broader electronic influences, often landing at the crossroads of these genres.

His inspirations are eclectic, ranging from classical and romantic composers like Vivaldi and Mahler to contemporary artists such as Emancipator, Pretty Lights, Infected Mushroom, Terrafractyl, Lisa Gerrard, and Poppy Ackroyd. He also draws influence from iconic '90s and earlier acts including Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, and Ozric Tentacles.
