About Stlan

Electronic musician since the 2000s, Yann Trevin, also known as Stlan, has produced dozens of unreleased electronic songs, for various events and occasions, such as productions [1], [2] for the antique Atari/Amiga demo scene in the late 90s or local lightshow events in France and Belgium between 2000 and 2005.

In 2022, after nearly 25 years of making music mostly for private or local spheres, and after a break of several years of musical starvation, Stlan finally returns and it's about time to unleash his music in the world!

Stlan's electronic music is rich and optimist; with strong and captivating melodies. His compositions usually stand at the intersection of different genres such as melodic techno, trance, psytrance and electronic music in general.

Stlan takes his inspiration from an eclectic variety of artists and composers; from the classical or romantic era with Vivaldi or Mahler, to much modern artists such as Emancipator, Pretty Lights, Infected Mushroom, Terrafractyl, Lisa Gerrard or Poppy Akroyd; and with a look at various other bands and artists from the 90s and before like Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield or Ozric Tentacles.
